so i'm finally updating! it's amazing how quickly puppies grow! i feel like Penny's grows a little everyday....it's also amazing how much i love her already...i never really thought i'd grow to love a pet like this but i do. she's so cute and has such a funny, weird personality, just like the hubs and i. here are some pics of her from the last 2 months....

we've been interacting more with the people in our building because of the pup...our building is really pet friendly so Penny's been interacting with a lot of different puppies/dogs after she got her shots. next time i have to remember to take pictures of her playing with Olive, the full grown beagle pup in the building...they love each other! Olive looks exactly like Penny's mom and smacks her around playfully all the time and put Penny in her place... on a random note....i got really annoyed after reading that Blake Lively named her new puppy Penny...i know that's pretty lame but whatever! other than that life has been good...work's been pretty busy and the hubs isn't thrilled with the fact that i come home with shopping bags all the time...but whatever i dont know what he expected when i switched jobs...using my discount is one of the main ways i relieve stress after a really busy week at work.... tomorrow, my cousin's son will be visiting NY....(what does he call me and what do i call him?)...he's been studying in Canada for a year and is taking the bus down for a visit. the last and only time i saw him was in Korea in '99 and he was like 10....i can't believe he's like 19 now...back then he called me gohmo (aunt) but i think he's technically supposed to call me some kind of ajuhma now that im married. wtf? i have no idea...but im gonna just tell him to call me gohmo or noona...anyways, so he's coming down with a girl that's a friend...i have no idea if it's his gf or what...but apparently his grandfather, my dad's older brother, called to say that the kid would be visiting NY...so obviously my dad got in contact with him and told him to stay at the house...turns out that wasn't possible because he was bringing a friend and then my dad got it out of him that it's a girl....so my parent's house can't accomodate the 2 of them and of course my parents are like wtf..this lil shekki's bringing a girl?? and of course the fam in korea doesn't know any of this so my parents asked me to check out cheap hotels or maybe even a hostel, since the hubs used to work at one....but then that's kind of condoning them to do whatever they want so the hubs and i decided to have them stay with us in our small 1 bedroom lol....so we're going to force the girl to sleep in the room with me and the cousin/nephew? will sleep in the living room with the hubs.... so we will be housing them, taking them to woodbury to shop at their request, and entertaining them. hopefully it won't be too awkward since i've only met him once...i dont have close relationships with any cousins but he's family so i'm willing to give it a try...hopefully he speaks some english!  ok that was a pretty detailed update! i still love xanga <3 hope everyone's doing well! ooh yes and i can't wait until labor day weekend for boume's bachelorette party in miami!! |
